The Lean Engineer provides support for our Mvantage operating system and will be a key member of our Continuous Improvement Team. Candidates must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
Learn the Mvantage program through internal training provided by the Continuous Improvement and Plant Leadership teams.
Training will be provided as well as certification as a Kaizen Facilitator
Assist in Mvantage Transformation activities at specified Sites.
Drive process improvements that sustain project goals, and provide timely, accurate, and meaningful information on project status, and keep updated financial records of project.
Support strategic project and be responsible for completing assigned tasks to achieve specific project goals.
Work with Continuous Improvement Team to create new process documentation, training materials, Standard operating procedure documents, and providing training to the plant operators.

Minimum Bachelor Degree with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Business

Function: Perform duties to set up and adjust injection molding equipment.

Ensure proper set up of secondary equipment and proper installation of work platforms when required.
Participate in devising ways to effectively implement the principles of Lean and support a culture of continuous improvement.

The Production Operator functions across various jobs in the manufacturing of zinc oxide, comprising furnace operations and packaging. Production Operators are cross-trained in several areas and assist shipping, receiving, and maintenance to ensure continuous and effective operations.
Packaging operations: Operates an automatic silo, scale, and bag press to efficiently and safely package product into approved packaging configurations per customer specifications.
Primary Duty is to operate and tend to the furnaces, including furnaces powered by gas, electric induction, and oxygen. Duties include but are not limited to:
Operates the boiler furnaces to maintain temperature control according to the furnace log and ensure adequate levels of raw materials are loaded.
Charges the furnace by adding prescribed amounts of metal to processed into zinc oxide.
Drain, transfer,or remove molten metal from furnace and place it into molds,
Prepare material to load into furnaces.
Remove dross (skim impurities floating on the top of the molten metal) to ensure high quality of zinc oxide is produced.

Building / Property Maintenance Technician
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
General building services (including maintenance and construction)
Follow directives of Maintenance Manager regarding daily tasks and long term projects.
Light Maintenance and repair trucks, forklifts and assorted hand tools.
Have good knowledge of electricity, carpentry and plumbing among other technical skills
Have good knowledge of troubleshooting techniques to determine exact problems and tackle them accordingly
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures
Stacks lumber on kiln cars, in yard, or in shed to dry or store, performing any combination of following tasks: Places lumber piece by piece in layers, leaving space between edges of adjacent pieces.
Places sticks between layers as stack rises to permit circulation of air and bind stack together.
Stands on ground and hands lumber to another worker on top of stack.
Positions timbers on kiln car, ground, or shed floor to build foundation for lumber stacks.
Places blocks against wheels of loaded kiln car in dry kiln to prevent movement of car.
Unloads lumber from stacks or kiln cars.
Places lumber, veneer, or plywood on conveyor for further processing.
Loads and unloads stacking machine, working in teamwork with other workers.
May attach identity card to stacks of lumber and record number of stacks by species for supervisor.
May move materials on shipping dock with hand truck.
On off-shifts may load trucks or railroad car using a forklift truck.
