    This position requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair dies while in the press and/or perform die removal and repair work on the bench.     The Production Operator functions across various jobs in the manufacturing of zinc oxide, comprising furnace operations and packaging. Production Operators are cross-trained in several areas and assist shipping, receiving, and maintenance to ensure continuous and effective operations.
    Packaging operations: Operates an automatic silo, scale, and bag press to efficiently and safely package product into approved packaging configurations per customer specifications.

    Shift Schedules: 12 hr rotating schedule- 8 am to 8:30 pm and 8 pm to 8:30 am

    High School or equivalency with ability to read, write, and complete basic mathematical computations
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
    ability to complete requisite safety training instruction and testing including forklift operation
    attention to detail
    ability to act quickly when a problem arises
    good work ethics

    Six (6) months experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with exposure to processes, workplace safety, multi-shift operations, and forklift operations.

    · Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
    · Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
    · Detail-oriented and consistent.
    · Works well as a productive member of a team.
    · Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
    · Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
    Education and Experience:
    · High school diploma or equivalent desired.
    Physical Requirements:
    · Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
    · Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
    · Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
    · Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
